Explore Vermont Wine

Contributed by:

Grab your friends and celebrate Vermont's small and growing winemaking community. Travel Vermont, try something new, and learn about Vermont's  Many of our vineyards are open year round for tastings and events. Discover the grapes and the wines that linked to the land and Vermont's terroir*.

*"Terroir" is the characteristic taste and flavor imparted to a wine by the environment in which it is produced.

The Vermont Grape and Wine Council offers a VT winery passport. You could win a gift certificate to any of the wineries on the list.  Stop by any of the vineyards, pick up a passport, taste some wine. The more vineyards you visit, the more stamps you get for your passport.
